Signal Upgrades at Burnley Station – ATB Services Bore Project for UGL

As part of the comprehensive signal upgrades between Burnley Station and Camberwell Station, ATB Services was engaged by UGL, to carry out a highly specialised and critical component of the project.

The project involved boring under three of the four active train lines at Burnley Station. This bore was necessary to accommodate essential electrical and communication conduits, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the new signaling system.

The bore itself was designed to hold six electrical conduits and one communication conduit, which were vital to supporting the infrastructure for the signal upgrade.
